| photos: Israel January 3-14, 2000 |
These are all photographs that I took in Israel in January 2000, when I travelled there with a group from Tufts Hillel as part of Hillel's Israel 2000, which is one of the Birthright Israel programs. Birthright Israel is a program that enables Jewish students to travel to Israel for free, thanks to the philanthropy of Michael Steinhardt and Charles Bronfman. The 60 students from Tufts were in Israel from January 4-13, 2000.
These photos were taken with a lousy Fuji 35mm point and shoot camera and a suprisingly decent Fuji 35mm disposable camera. Definately not the best equipment available. They were developed to Kodak Picture CD at Tenafly Camera For the web, I scaled them down to 600x400 resolution from the higher resolution images. Click on the photographs for a larger image. They will open in a new window, assuming you have a browser with Javascript (Netscape 2.0+ or Internet Explorer 3.0+). More pictures will follow. |
