Brooklyn in flux

Downtown Brooklyn is going through a stage of transition. Large parts of the neighborhood are in some stage of construction:

This is only the first phase of a series of major redevelopment projects that will radically affect Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Paper has a snazzy map of all these development projects and proposals:

Hey, cool post on Brooklyn in flux. I happened upon your site in a most roundabout fashion. I was googling for an old THS classmate and your URL came up in the search results. Voila, you have a new reader. I am a THS grad (class of '90) and one of my good friends from high school attended NYLS where he met his wife (a Brooklyn Law grad). All of this is, of course, meaningly drivel to you but, hey, at least it's a comment. Right? Keep up the blogging, I'll be reading.
